TEHRAN – For the first time, nine Iranian carpet exporting companies attended the Mebel 2008, the 20th International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery in Moscow, from November 24 until 28.

The Iranian companies’ goal is to increase carpet exports to Russia.
In this exhibition the Iranian National Carpet Center showcases hand-woven carpets and the weaving process in a 50 square meter pavilion, IRIB reported.
The Mebel International Exhibition is a useful place to showcase a wide range of high-quality furniture products, elite furniture and accessories, high-class interiors, fittings, components, decorative and finishing materials, advanced design technologies and unique decoration and style solutions.
Companies from 30 countries will display their products in the fields of upholstered furniture, cabinet furniture, tables and chairs, home study furniture, bedroom furniture, built-in furniture, small furniture, children's furniture, wicker furniture, bathroom furniture, kitchen furniture and accessories, dining areas, built-in kitchen appliances, executive office furniture, chairs, office screens, metal commercial furniture, office furniture, storage walls and lockers, strongboxes, lighting accessories, carpets and floor coverings, decorative interior items, drapes, curtains, curtain tracks, window blinds, interior textiles, decorative glass, stained glass, mosaics, mirrors, glass interior lamps, and glass interior items.
